Question: Does LED Light Therapy really work?
Answer: Yes it really does. Thousands of peer-reviewed clinical trials and studies on light therapy have been conducted over the last three decades and published in major scientific journals. The evidence is overwhelmingly in favor of its effectiveness & safety, and the FDA has approved light therapy for the treatment of joint pain, reduction of wrinkles, and many other conditions.
Question: Is it safe to use more than one setting in a single session?
Answer: Yes, feel free to alternate between the three different light therapies. They will be most effective when you use each setting for at least 15 minutes at a time but you can't over-do light therapy.
Question: Can I use it if I have photo-sensitivity?
Answer: Yes it is perfectly safe to use if you are sensitive to light - just use it in a well-lit room.
Question: Will I get cancer with using this product?
Answer: No, It is unlikely to cause cancer.
Question: Which cleanser or cream should I use before putting the mask on?
Answer: You can use your normal face wash/cleanser before using the LED Mask. It's important to remember to completely dry your face before putting on the mask.
Question: Is it safe to use in the shower or bathtub?
Answer: No. It is not for use in water and must be kept dry at all time.
Question: Is my vision limited whilst wearing it?
Answer: No, the mask is designed to allow you to see clearly while wearing it, meaning you can go about your daily tasks as normal, read, watch TV, use your phone, computer, tablet, etc.
Question: Does it work on the nose and chin area?
Answer: Yes absolutely, it completely covers the face, chin and neck area. But obviously dependent on the severity of your acne it may take more or less time to show effect.
Question: Can it help with psoriasis?
Answer: It’s effective for calming any redness on the face so will also help treat inflammation caused by psoriasis.
Question: Can it help with hyperpigmentation?
Answer: Yes, the amber setting is effective for this.
Question: Are there any age limitations for usage?
Answer: We recommend you consult a skin specialist before using the mask on under-16's.
Question: Are there any conditions that would make this product unsuitable for me to use?
Answer: This product is NOT suitable for young children, those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, those with epilepsy, photosensitive eczema, lupus, albinism, genetic eye conditions, thyroid gland problems, those who suffer with extreme light sensitivity or taking any medications which may increase light sensitivity.
